AML & Compliance Officer

We currently wish to employ a full-time AML & Compliance Officer for our offices in Nicosia who will report directly to the CEO and will assist in maintaining an accurate
Compliance and AML function that complies with regulatory obligations.

Duties:

1. Develop, initiate, maintain and revise policies and procedures, as well as monitor whether the measures, policies, controls and procedures implemented by the company.
2. Comply with its AML/CFT obligations
3. Coordinate, monitor and advise on both Global AML and compliance policy, business AML and compliance programs and local AML and compliance procedures
4. Serve as primary contact person with ICPAC, MOKAS and other competent authorities
5. Keep up-to-date on regulatory rule changes and developments and inform management to consider the next steps
6. Assistance in AML training and ensuring AML training requirements of the company’s staff are met
7. Review of KYC documentation and due diligence

Key Skills/Experience

1. Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or any AML and Compliance related career)
   At least 3 years experience in the Compliance and AML function
2. Very good knowledge of Cyprus AML law regulations
3. Proven compliance experience at an administrative service provider or audit firm
4. Excellent command of English and Greek
5. Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
